Anyone who has an issue with that has an issue with good music, not to mention they don't truly appreciate and accept the band and their penchant for improvisation and trying new things. Thank you, Professor, for not announcing the song in your intro, because it was a very pleasant surprise!

I was simply blown away by this whole set in general. The Dark Star > El Paso > Space > Jam was phenomenal stuff; and while the transition to Casey Jones was abrupt, I found it to be fascinating. I could go on and on about each and every song and how awesome they all were...let's just say that I'm a huge fan of the whole set, through and through. It's upper echelon stuff, in my humble opinion.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847493.post-162758553876178542007-07-21T01:39:00.000-04:002007-07-21T01:39:00.000-04:00Thanks for the great podcasts, Professor! I have to say 67-72 were my favorite years, and this show is no exception. The tone of Jerry's guitar especially during the jam and Casey Jones. Something dark and forcing about it..can't put my finger on it, but always loved this sound. Also, Jerry vocally sounds great. Thanks so much for these!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847493.post-14866020608772125992007-07-10T22:13:00.000-04:002007-07-10T22:13:00.000-04:00just search through the archives on this site, all...just search through the archives on this site, all of the links should still be good, although the really older ones that point to http://henriksonj.no-ip.info are slow and limited to 2 simultaneous connections, so you have to be patient..
thanks! glad you found us!the professorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11359002096166036204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847493.post-42238304970052092122007-07-10T21:28:00.000-04:002007-07-10T21:28:00.000-04:00I just started to get the podcast and I was wonder...I just started to get the podcast and I was wondering if there was anyway to get the backed podcasts. The NFA> China Cat Jam> GTRFB> NFA was a testament to the Dead's signature sound. I would like to know what your favorite Dark Star moments are. Thanks for your time. The podcast is an excellent show. Keep up the good work (as if you needed me to say that).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847493.post-28135706949211167352007-07-08T22:53:00.000-04:002007-07-08T22:53:00.000-04:00Hey Professor! Anyway, I was thrilled when I found this fabulous podcast on the itunes website AND that you are based in Columbia. I am originally from Kansas City. I think I have heard of this before, but wasn't sure if it was your show-if you have been doing it awhile, it probably is. Keep up the great work! I am so happy to have found you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847493.post-76459448585930134632007-07-06T13:07:00.000-04:002007-07-06T13:07:00.000-04:00Hey, thanks for the nod, Professor!
