Wonderful set, with solid playing and singing throughout. At a few points in "Loser," when Jerry was delivering the line "I can tell the Queen of Diamonds by the way she shines," he was singing oh so well.

Listening to these archived shows in what is now 2014, six years after the fact, I notice how the Professor's styles of commentary was marked different then than it is now. Whereas now he generally makes mention of each song in the setlist and its attributes--thereby giving notice of all that is to come, in 2008 this was not the case. I love the Professor's insights and observations, and wouldn't trade a word of it for anything; but, it is also fun to listen to these older shows and not know every song that it to come, and simply wait for the set to reveal itself just as it did for those in attendance that night. Along those lines, Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication was a very nice, unexpected treat.
