Dead Show/podcast for 10/3/08

I don't always get to play requests - but sometimes I can and this week I'm sharing a show that was recently requested - October 2nd, 1977. This is a fine performance - and a Betty board to boot. I think the fun they're having back on stage is clearly reflected in their playing. This is a fine recording of a fun show I think you'll enjoy.

I need to take a moment to THANK everyone who contributed to the Deadpod last week!! Your support will be a huge help to keep us strong and to support our community radio station KOPN. I'm going to do my best to get those copies of 'Rockin' the Cradle' out to you as soon as I can. I have to wait to get them from Rhino, and I go in for surgery in a little over a week - so it might be a little while before they go out - so please be patient. I'll get them out to everyone! thanks again!!!

Great sound! The boys sound tight... lots of bounce in the step. Good luck with the surgery prof and thanks for the music. Like I've said before, makes my Fridays that much better.

    Great show!
Do you know if Rhyno plans to release the shows from the "all down hill from here" run?

because 7/19/1989 just stole my face.
    deal, foolish, everything is smoking.
I'll let that deal go down any day. One of my all time favorites, and I'm not really a 1980's guy.

Keep it up and good luck with your knee!

This is upper echelon stuff! One of the best Dupree's I've heard, Let It Grow was scorchin'...every song deserves a nod, really. Cannot wait for the second set...
