Dead Show/podcast for 02/02/07

Happy Groundhog day!

This week, an overlooked show that I think is quite fine.. from 1981, a very original setlist and some fine playing, I think you'll enjoy it..

You're the Fuckin' KING, Professor. Makin' the people happy ever mothergrabbing week--not a bad way to spend your time. Anyway, I'm going to send in some dough. I've got DAYS of this show on my ipod by now, so I figure I ought to give something back.

Just listened to the 2/2 show from 1981 ( think that's what you said). Loved the entire set from the beginning. Missipi Half Stet to Franklin's Tower incited me to get to the piano. Love it. THe jam on the lions den was amazing, but my favo is always Franklins Tower - the first song that gave me my first musical Bid - O. Great clean music with excellenet musicianship on great tunes.
