Dead show/podcast for 09/04/09

This week we have the first set of a great show that was performed 29 years ago today - from the Civic Center in Providence RI. I always enjoy the energy of these 1980 shows - Brent is still new to the band and Jerry is in *fine* voice.
In this first set the Althea and Far From Me are highlights for myself...
I hope this helps bring a smile to your face this Labor Day weekend!

That Peggy-O was sweet. Don't think I've ever heard it played like that before. Good thing I remembered to hit stop before Far From Me kicked in.

Please Help! I lost some older podcasts in itunes and can't download them from the archives. The files open in Quicktime and can be played, but not imported into itunes. Any suggestions?

You wouldn't know from this show that Brent hadn't been playing with the band for long...it was as if he had been there for years. This was a great set!
