Dead Show/podcast for 9/11/09

This week is the second set of this fine show from 29 years ago, 9/4/80 Civic Center, Providence RI. I'm a big fan of this setlist - and I especially love the Supplication jam that leads into the Estimated ->Eyes (which is fast , as is typical for the era)..
Hope you enjoy this as much as I do...

the instruments sound fine but the vocals are very distorted. What's up? Anyone else have this problem?

The vocals sound great to me. Anonymous -- you may need medical attention to hear the music properly. Listen to the ad at the begginning of the podcast and act accordingly!

Now that I'm on my home computer the vocals sound fine. Weird. Overall the sound is outstanding.

Another fantastic set, all the way around. Everyone played and sang extremely well. Supplication Jam was tender and sweet, Drums was thunderous, and Brent's background vocals on Wharf Rat and Good Lovin' (especially during the refrain on the former) were sheer beauty and power. It leaves me wanting more from this year!
