Professor - My brother-in-law passed away this week and this "Beautiful Jam" brought a little beauty back in my life. Thank you.

Thank you! 'Beautiful Jam" on stereo....better than "So Many Roads". It means a lot to me....it's my wife's ring tone. Lots of memories. Amazing. Thank you

Fucking fantastic. You can tell the band was totally proud of their new tunes. I am in love with the Darkstar>Wharf Rat>Dark Star! Jerry sounds great and Bobby's guitar shows off his talents.

Thanks Professor!

Although this entire set was superb, I must focus my comment here on that jam. I discovered The Deadpod 11 months ago, and have been devouring them almost non-stop ever since (thank you, Professor, for keeping the archives from past years available!). I was a Dead fan before, but now I am a FANATIC. Anyway, it's been an amazing musical journey, as I've gained a new appreciation not only for so many songs, but also for the nuances of the different eras, and the different players who breathed their own unique life into this ever-evolving band and its songbook. Having said all of that, despite having heard so much wonderfully inspiring and creative music since being turned onto this podcast, for me, that jam represents perhaps the best 4-5 minutes of music that I've encountered during my entire sonic expedition. It is the pinnacle, and I feel as if it's what I've been searching for this entire time. I have no other words to describe it. Thank you, Professor, for bringing this to us! Moving forward, my hope is that even this masterpiece will be eclipsed by yet some other piece of delicious ear candy that I have yet to discover! The journey continues... =)
