Of course I don't know how it has been where you are... but the winter up here in Michigan has been pretty mild so far (now I've jinked myself :)
Still.. I didn't think a little pick-me-up would be a bad idea.. this show is a request from one of my listeners and I thought a little Springtime Dead would be just the thing for the after-holidays blues.. Hope you enjoy this one.. I'm always a fan of 'Here Comes Sunshine' and actually have enjoyed Phil's renditions of 'Broken Arrow'.. Almost painful to hear how Garcia's strained voice on HCS. I seem to remember it sounding stronger in the fall of '93. Good first set overall. Happy 2k12 to all!
There are times when Furthur sounds better than early 90s Dead. Listen to the music play . . .
Cal Expo was a great place to see the band. Maybe the best on the West Coast at that time. I saw all the shows during this stretch. The next night had the better set list even if Jerry wasn't in the best form.
