Dead Show/podcast for 8/2/13

Well here we are again.. in another 'Days Between' .. summer flies indeed, and as we reflect on old Jerry and the light he brought to us all I thought it best to bring you a set of Pure Jerry as it were.. no not one of the commercial releases, but still Jerry Band., this configuration with Keith and Donna and Ron Tutt and John Kahn, but mainly Jerry.. with some very beautiful playing and singing on some of his most well known songs that he performed with his own band.. These are played exquisitely. The mix is a bit rough at the start but gets better a couple minutes into Sugaree. I couldn't bear to not publish the entire show, so bear with me if this week's Deadpod is a bit longer than usual. I am thankful I get to listen to these tunes and more so, for the opportunity to share them with you..

professor - this is just a simply exquisite show. The recording is pristine! Was it Betty?

Thanks for making all the days brighter by sharing this beautiful music.

the show was at Keystone Palo Alto, not Berkeley - on California Ave.

Yes, this is a perfect show. Most enjoyable! A very high-quality recording, too.
