Dead Show/podcast for 8/8/14

Hard to believe its been 19 years. Life is like that, those of us lucky enough to get old realize the truth in the line about it passing like dew.. I digress.. Here it is the eve of that anniversary and all I can do is bring you some fine Jerry music. This one comes from the Jerry Band back in 1978.. early show at the Capitol Theater in Passaic NJ. This one was broadcast on FM radio and that is where this Jerry Moore recording came from. Still sounds pretty fine to me, and I hope you enjoy going back to that young Jerry and enjoying how he rocked out these tunes.
Keith and Donna were in the band back then, John Kahn on bass, Buzz Buchanan on Drums, Maria Muldaur joined Donna on backing vocals.. What a blast it must have been that night.

As I say in the intro to this podcast, I consider myself so very fortunate to be able to bring you this music every week. I am indebted to you my friends, my sisters and brothers, who listen and who write me and who support this show. I love you more than words can tell....

As the song goes, Love is real, Not Fade Away........
