Dead Show/podcast for 03/02/07

This week a bit of a change of pace, as I decided to bring you a late-era Dead show. Despite that, its a fine set, highlighted by a wonderful China Cat->Rider and perhaps the penultimate version of Standing on the Moon. All in all an excellent second set and I hope you enjoy it..

Grateful Dead Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon Eugene, OR
8/21/93 - Saturday
China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider ; Way To Go Home ; Truckin' (1) > Good Morning Little Schoolgirl (1) > Smokestack Lightnin' (1) > Drums > Space > The Last Time (1) > Standing On The Moon > One More Saturday Night
(1) with Huey Lewis on harmonica

As always you can listen to the deadpod here:

Hi Professor,

Again, I just want to express my admiration for this podcast and the show on KOPN. I look forward to it every week. It brings me joy in a world that makes me more neurotic each day. It makes me proud that thousands of people download it and it's coming from right here in Columbia.

Great late-era show here. China Cat is bright. Always love a nostalgic Standing on the Moon too. SOTM was the theme of my high school prom because all my girlfriends were Dead-heads!

BTW, that Candyman from a few weeks ago in February is probably the best Candyman i've ever had the pleasure to hear.

Never stop rocking.

Yes indeed, this is good jam. I really dig the China kat>IKYR. I love to come home from work every Friday and listen to the show. The net has opened many doors for us all. Many thanks to all those involved to make this happen every week. If only the world could pull together as Deadheads do. Keep jamming America.

Any chance we can get the other set from this show? It's one of the few shows I was able to go to, and I will always remember that part of my life with incredible fondness.

Thank you!!!

Great set, and loved hearing some harmonica. Those in attendance were probably nostalgic for Pigpen!
