Prof - I grew up listening to these shows live on WNEW-FM in NYC. You just can't beat these awesome spring 77 shows. Thank you thank you!

Excellent job on the tape. Great sound and a fine, albeit short, set. Seems like there should have been another song with a long jam in there between S&D and Morning Dew.

Hey Professor,
As usual, this week's show is great. I've only been tuned into you for about a month now, but I can't believe this has been out there all this time. Thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you could dig around for some truly epic jam shows. I've been going through the backlog of shows and just consuming Dead at home, in the car, well everywhere. The 2/13/70 show you posted on 3/13/09 has been one of my favs so far.

If you're able, please post another jammy show like that; I love it when The Dead really take time to explore their connection to the music.

If you're not ready for another show like that, could you recommend past episodes I can go back to? I really need to get my groove on - Dead style!

Thanks so much for your work.

Wow. I've never heard the fade in fade out effect of the crowd done so well. What a show! The China/Rider is all you make it out to be. Teach me more!!!

What a truly amazing set, all the way around...truly indicative of the band's mastery during this time period.

I have to say that I'm not a fan of folks screaming out the songs they wish to hear. Although on the one hand, I appreciate their fervor, on the other hand, it's annoying. I regret to say it, but I'm glad that they didn't play Casey Jones...does that make me a bad person? =) I guess I just like to let the band take me where they will, and they never cease to amaze and please me regardless of the road that's taken.
