This week another listener request - this time for a show from the summer tour of 1985 - and that immediately brought this show to mind. Uneven, like most shows from that tour, flashes of brilliance that certainly makes listening worthwhile - I hope you agree!
This week the first set:
6/25/85 - Grateful Dead
Blossom Music Center
Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Day Tripper ->
West L.A. Fadeaway
C C Rider
Dire Wolf
Beat It On Down The Line
Row Jimmy
Me And My Uncle ->
Big River
Big Railroad Blues
Jack Straw ->
Might As Well
Aside from the dreadful Day Tripper, I think the rest of this is quite enjoyable!! Hope you enjoy it too..
You can listen to this week's Deadpod here:

Hey professor any way of playing a show with new speedway boogie or unbroken chain.That would be great. Thanks
you hav'nt played a stagger/ruben in a spell.
I love that picture of the taper section that came with the iTunes podcast. Does anyone sell a poster of that image: http://tinyurl.com/tapersection. Love the Deadpod - keep those 70s shows coming :-)
Jerry was a mess on this. His performance on Row Jimmy is laughable. Somehow the set holds up pretty well despite this. It must have gotten old having to cover for him on nights like that.
