Merry Christmas!
I have always had a tradition of bringing you acoustic music on the holidays and I see no reason not to continue that this year - I've come across some really special music to share with you this year and I hope it fills you with peace and love and joy this year.
This is a rare, solo Jerry show - it speaks for itself -

merry christmas professor, beautiful set.thanks for all your good work.
The 12/25/09 podcast is not yet on Itunes, will it be soon?
I don't know why it's not showing up and I am away from home for a fewdays so I'm not sure
I want to give some context to this show at the Capitol Theatre to showcase what an amazing and resilient performer Jerry was. I am sure the following was typical of his schedule.
The Dead kicked off their Spring 82 Tour on 4/2/82 at Duke Univ.
Between Dead and Jerry shows they played on 4/3 (Norfolk, VA), 4/5 (Spectrum), 4/6 (Spectrum), 4/8 (Syracuse), 4/9 (Rochester), 4/10 (Jerry solo early, late show at the Capitol Theatre), 4/11 (Nassau), 4/12 (Nassau), 4/13 (Letterman show with Weir), 4/14 (Glens Falls), 4/15 (Providence), 4/17 (Hartford), 4/18 (Hartford), 4/19 (Baltimore), 4/21 (Jerry with John Kahn early, late show at the Beacon Theatre -- the late show was on the Deadpod some time ago.)
In 19 days he played 18 shows including 4 solo shows, 13 Dead shows and 1 TV appearance. He wasn't even 40, but still pretty amazing.
Professor, thanks for what you do.
Sweet show. Love what you do. Haven't seen you in ages. One of these days I need to make that happen. Best of all life can offer to you and yours. May the kind vibe be forever yours.
anonymous, i want to give some context to your context. jerry had to play every night
