Hello Friends! this week we'll listen to the second set of this fine show from the beginning of the famous Spring of 1977 tour, in Philadelphia PA. This starts with a very nice Scarlet->Fire, a very new combination at the time, and Jerry does an excellent job jamming out on this one. It's followed by a wonderful Samson & Delilah - love the way Bob phrases this one, then a personal favorite, Must have Been the Roses. An unusual Dancin->Got My Mojo Workin'->Dancin' leads into the Wheel-Terrapin combo which closes this gem. This may not be the very best show of this tour, but it is a great listen and I hope you enjoy it!

Is the typed-up set list incorrect? Doesn't jive with the Prof.'s audio description....
my error, should be fixed now, sorry for the problem.

Killer color picture of the ticket you get with iTunes podcast! I could handle a couple dozen Friday nights like this April 22, 1977! There is magic interplay right from the start. Listen to all of the excitement and detail in their playing during Scarlet-Fire for example. I can't figure out if it's the drummers, the drums and bass, the drums, bass, and keys...it's really stellar. Thanks for bringing this to us Professor!
I can’t say enough good things. Donna and Jerry sound great. The tempo I’d call transitional. Roses brought a tear to me old eyes. And Bob was fine.
The download link on iTunes seems not to be working for 4/30. Works for the other shows.
I don't control itunes, but the link just worked for me..
OK, thanks. 4/30 worked for me from within my subscription, but for some reason not when I tried to download just as an individual podcast from the iTunes Store.
Hi Professor any chance of playing winterland june 7 1977. Has a great song list. Much appreciated.
